Caring for children is my choice of profession. I enjoy children, playing with them, talking with them, and meeting their physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs. I have the ability to love other people's children. I have the ability to see the world through a "child's eye." My rewards are watching each child grow and develop and knowing that I have made an impact on this child. I plan on leaving this world a better place than it was, one child at a time.
I have been in the child care field since January 1989. I was licensed in May 1989, license #410517371. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I received National Accreditation from the National Association of Family Child Care in February 2005. I am certified in adult and child CPR. I have been on the board of the San Mateo County Family Child Care Association from 1992-2004, and am still an active member.
I believe staying active in the field and continuing education benefits the children in my care. I attend local, state and/or national conferences
